Welcome to Circle Ten Council’s National Youth Leadership Training web page! National Youth Leadership Training, NYLT for short, is a program that teaches young men and women basic leadership and instruction skills. Every NYLT course hosted by Circle Ten Council is held at Camp James Ray, on Lake Texoma. Each participant is placed in a team at the beginning of the week, and they continue to work with that team through the many challenges NYLT provides. Those challenges range from problem solving games to an overnight trip late in the week. Skills taught at NYLT will continue to be useful outside of the Scouting program. Our topics of discussion range from how to conduct a campfire program to valuing people. From communicating well to making ethical decisions. This course is an intense experience that you won’t want to miss!
